I was born and raised in Iran, where food has a big role in its culture and providing a homemade meal is a symbol of pride.
I credit my mom for my love of baking since she always made the most delicious foods and pastries.
I always had the passion for baking and started hands on in kitchen from very young age, but never thought of it as my career.
Prior to completing the Pastry Art Program at Platt college, I worked at different jobs from helping refugees at UNHCR in Iran to work at bank in Seattle and retail in Oklahoma City and being a staying at home mom for almost 10 years. I learned a lot at each position, met many great people and made a lot of memories but still felt like something was missing. My decision to pursue a long term passion for baking led me to fill the Pastry Chef position at Boulevard Steakhouse where I made fine desserts from scratch and sharpened my skills by working with Chef Jeffrey Holloway. I finally took one step further to reach my goal of having a diverse pastry shop where the genuine taste of ancient Persia meets the exquisite western cuisine! It sure is LOVE at first bite. I would like to thank my supportive husband Majid and my sweet family and friends who believed in me and encouraged me to make my ultimate wish come true.
